Greenhouses

Greenhouses in agricolture
The Greenhouse is a fixed or temporary protection realized for modifying the microclimate of the host crops. It is therefore a forcing as it enables to obtain crops in places and periods which are incompatible with the crops growing; i.e. it allows to create an habitat in which all these details can be controlled and measured : temperature, humidity, air, ground’s temperature , light ‘s intensity and duration. The different used materials and shapes are depending on the specific functions of the projected greenhouse. For the bearing structure the employed materials are galvanized iron pipes, the covering can be glass or in plastic material. Covering material has to be strong with good optical characteristic, resistant to mechanical stress and used temperatures.

Greenhouses characteristic is that solar radiation permeates through the transparent covering of the greenhouse, which , however, retains the radiation emitted from the soil and plants, and the effect

(called greenhouse effect) causes an increase in temperature inside the greenhouse itself

Our greenhouses can be divided in :

  • greenhouse for production
  • greenhouse for photovoltaic panels predisposition
  • structures studied for specific uses
