The heating screens help to create the ideal climatic conditions for the growth of the plants and, thanks to their heating power, to contain the energetic costs.
 

CHARACTERISTICS
All the screens that Europrogress supply have a common base structure, made of strips width 4mm kept together by threads in polyester. The strips can be completely transparent to the light or an aluminium covering that reflect the light and the warm. The strips are linked among them to obtain a particular shadow effect. In the garden centres is usually used a coloured screen according to the request.
The heating screen is, without doubt, one of the methods more efficient to save on the elevate energetic costs requested from the nursery. The fundamental factors to save energy are two:

1) 1)The heating power of the screen;

2) 1)Its air permeability.

The combination of polyester and aluminium, materials which compose the products of the screen Europrogress, reduces very much the leaks of warmth. The polyester has a high absorbing power of the infrared radiations with respect to the polyethylene. Moreover, thanks to a special layer of aluminium, the screen constitutes an efficient barrier for the radiations IR with long wave, reducing more the leaks of warmth.

 
 

AIR PERMEABILITY
The screen Europrogress is realized to reduce to the minimum the air-permeability without for this favours the formation of condensation. The weaving has an essential part on this sense. Our efforts to reduce the leaks of radiant and convective heat have been able to realize a product able to make save a lot of energy. The supplied data in the following table are approximate and require a correct installation, and obviously the data can change according to the exterior climate, the structure of the greenhouse and its general conditions.
 

FUNCTIONING
The plant is composed of two structures, one fix and one mobile, it allows the regulation of the screens in every position you wish. The movements realized with the pairing of racks or nylon thread and motor-reducers, they will be of transverse type from layer to layer. The system controls, through a series of pipes and profiles in transferred steel, the movement of a series of parts of film equal to a wheel base. Every one of them will be fixed on one side straddle its truss of affiliation in order to create a fix frame or zone of superimposition of the screen in order to reduce to the minimum the dispersion, when the film is in position insulating.

Proper collectors and woven-wire allow that the frame will not be overtook during the phase of collection. During the movement in opening and closing, a series of cables guide will permit that the flow happens in this position.

 
 

HUMIDITY AND CONDENSATION CONTROL
Besides the energetic save and the regulation of the luminous transmission, the heat screens are used also for the control of the humidity.

This is valid above all during the productive cycle, when the perspiration of the plants is not sufficient to create conditions of ideal humidity. In such cases, through the closing of the heat covering we increase the humidity of the greenhouse.

 
 

AUTOMATIONS OF PLANT WITH TIMING, LIGHT AND TEMPERATURE
The temperature can reach value very high under the roof of the greenhouse if the plant doesn’t have ventilation on the roof or if the greenhouse is completely closed to sterilize the scheme of cultivation, the temperature can become so high to corrupt the elastic polymer. For this we have chosen materials able to be thermal oxidation-resistant up to 130 C.

On the screens the condensation doesn’t accumulate, for this it doesn’t get dirty and the weeds don’t grow. Being material extremely light and flexible, the screen, once closed, it takes very little space, in order to allow the passage almost total of the light.

They are available also external shadow plants to put over the structure.
